This mini rimba may be small in size, but it rich in local berries and fruits. In it you can find ragimot, mob-polah, local guava, vanilla berries, tandaramai and many more. When we start redeveloping Soboroong in 2013, we have developed this mini rimba in effort to attract birds that disappeared when Soboroong was transformed into conventional vegetables farming for close to 30 long years. Mini rimba is now home to many birds such as mob-porak, luhui, pimpikau, buhou and many smaller birds. 


If you happened to stay at Sinurambi or Soboroong Farmer’s Cottage, you might be awakened by the early morning singing of the birds; just in time for you to enjoy the sight of the magnificent Mt Kinabalu at dawn.
